How to get there?
We are pleased to organise this workshop in in the stunning setting of Hostal Reyes Católicos in Santiago de Compostela.

Goals:

Numerical invariants of homotopy type akin to the Lusternik-Schnirelmann category (henceforth LS-cat) have a long tradition in Algebraic Topology, and in the last years they have become a trend research topic by their implications in some applied settings.

The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers with a common interest in LS-cat invariants, but different perspectives, to provide the opportunity to exchange information and results of recent work. It is hoped that the exposition of all these different approaches to LS-cat invariants will create a synergistic research forum that will lead to new ideas and collaboration projects.
