Courses and schedule:

    As indicated in the Introduction, we have scheduled two courses Topology and Robotics (Michael Farber, University of Durham) and Competing Species and Homeomorphisms of the Disc (Rafael Ortega, Universidad de Granada) whose purpose is to highlight the new interactions of topology with areas in which topological methods have been recently and successfully applied. Both courses are divided into five lectures, which are scheduled according to the following (tentative) timetable:
